Seguin Venture Summit
October 11-13, 2023
A dynamic gathering of forward-thinking founders, industry leaders, and investors, dedicated to creating lasting networks and nurturing startup success.
The Seguin Mission
Success lies in the power of mentorship, community, and connectivity. These invaluable networks can often be elusive, especially for those not born into such circles. The Seguin Venture Summit is born from the understanding of this challenge. Our mission is to lessen barriers and accelerate the network-building process. We are facilitating authentic, meaningful dialogues and experiences, accelerating personal growth, and building an inclusive, engaged global community. We are about elevating each other, and in doing so, elevating ourselves. This gathering provides equal value to everyone involved – founders, mentors, and investors alike. We are all gaining access to something new.
Location
Our first ever summit will be held at the Grey Haven's Inn in Georgetown, Maine. Reserved solely for our attendees, the historic inn provides an atmosphere that is at once tranquil and stimulating. Anticipate authentic dialogues and fantastic photo-ops.
What To Expect
We are orchestrating an agenda designed to foster connection and collaboration. Expect keynotes, deep-dive workshops, and one-on-one sessions with industry veterans.
While the agenda provides structure, the true magic lies in the unscripted. The spontaneous conversations, the shared insights, the unexpected connections – these are the moments that define the Seguin experience. This Summit is your platform for building a robust network that drives both personal and professional growth.
A full, detailed agenda will be released to attendees prior to the event.
FAQs
1. Why is it invite only?
Seguin is small by design, with only 13 founders being invited to stay in the 13 room inn. This will create a unique campus feel among attendees and allow for organic connection. Mentors, investors, and speakers will be staying next door, and will outnumber our founders, turning the typical conference experience on its head.
2. What can I expect from the summit schedule?
Our agenda balances structure with spontaneity. Expect a mix of keynotes, workshops, and sessions. There will be ample downtime to enjoy the beautiful grounds, have a cocktail, and make the experience your own.
3. How do I get to the Inn, is it really on an island?
Georgetown Island is remote yet accessible. The Grey Havens Inn is just one hour’s drive from the international airport at Portland, and two and a half hours from Boston. For more information on the venue, visit https://greyhavens.com/
4. Who will be attending the summit?
We've handpicked a diverse group of founders, mentors, advisors, and investors, each bringing unique insights and experiences to the table. This mix of attendees ensures fruitful outcomes for all involved.
5. What does my ticket price include?
In line with our mission, founders' tickets include room, sessions and meals. For investors, mentors and other attendees, the ticket price includes sessions and meals only.
6. Why did I not receive an invite?
Please do not feel disheartened! If you did not receive an invite for this year, that does not reflect on your merit or value. We have limited spots and aim for a diverse range of backgrounds, industries and perspectives to balance the right mix of attendees.
7. Are there other ways I can get involved with Seguin Venture Summit?
Absolutely! We're currently exploring other ways to engage our community throughout the year . We are committed to providing value and new insights into the entrepreneurial journey. As such, our members will largely dictate how we engage and we would love to hear your thoughts. We will be publishing our first newsletter in August to kick off the conversation.
